Hey! I’m Emem, your future friend and a passionate Jesus lover. About fifteen years ago, I went through the most tormenting season of my life — I could not sleep.
Night after night my mind raced. I was anxious and terrified. Nothing I tried worked — not teas, not medicine, not routines, not forcing myself to ‘just relax.’ I felt helpless, hopeless, exhausted, and honestly… I felt like I was going crazy.
Through the help of the Holy Spirit, I finally realized that peace had already been given to me — and the enemy had stolen it.
I learned how to stand in my spiritual authority and take my peace back. With the truth of God’s Word and the authority He gave me, I went from hopeless, afraid, and mentally exhausted to restored in peace, anchored in joy, renewed in my mind, and sleeping sweetly.
Pajamas on, lights low, worries off — welcome to sweet sleep with Jesus.

Trying to relax before bed but anxiety still follows you into the night? If your sleep problems feel worse when the house finally gets quiet, this episode will show you why — and what to practice during the day so you can sleep in peace.
Many Christian moms assume that if they just try harder to relax at night, they’ll finally sleep in peace. But anxiety doesn’t suddenly appear at bedtime — it builds quietly throughout the day. The overstimulation. The snapping. The mental replay. The pressure to hold everything together.
So what if the key to sleeping peacefully isn’t just relaxing at night… but practicing peace earlier?
In this conversation with spiritual growth coach Bethany Rose, we talk about what it really looks like to stay connected to God in the middle of a busy schedule. You’ll learn how small, faithful rhythms during the day can help you regulate your reactions, release mom guilt, and stop anxiety before it follows you into bed.
We discuss:
Why trying to relax at night isn’t enough
How to create a Christ-centered home without adding pressure
What to do in those “running on fumes” moments when you snap
How to move from nighttime mental replay into genuine release
And how practicing God’s presence during the day helps guard your mind at night
If sleep problems, racing thoughts, or anxiety at night have been stealing your rest, this episode will help you understand why — and show you a practical, Scripture-rooted way forward.
Because peace isn’t something you switch on at bedtime. It’s something you cultivate in the middle of your ordinary day.
And when you practice it there… it follows you into the night.

If you’re dealing with exhaustion and ongoing sleep deprivation and wondering why peace slips away the moment your head hits the pillow, this episode is for you. I walk through how Jesus resisted temptation in Matthew 4 and why His example matters when worry, racing thoughts, and nighttime anxiety try to take over. What kept Jesus steady wasn’t willpower—it was His consistent use of the Word of God.
In this episode, I show you how spiritual resistance works, why it must be practiced consistently, and how using Scripture in night prayer Christian rhythms helps restore peace at bedtime. If you’ve tried to relax but your mind won’t slow down, this conversation will help you understand how biblical meditation—meditating on God’s Word, not striving—leads to real authority, calmer thoughts, and more restful sleep. This is for the exhausted woman who’s ready to stop fighting in her own strength and learn how to stand firm, so peace can return and rest can follow.

Exhaustion doesn’t always show up loud—but it often shows up first through sleep deprivation and nights that no longer feel restful.
In this episode, I talk about how spiritual attack can be subtle, revealing itself through exhaustion that won’t lift, sleep that doesn’t restore, and peace slowly slipping away. If you’re struggling to relax at night or your mind won’t quiet, Scripture shows us that peace has been challenged—and that matters more than we realize.
I walk through key Bible verses to explain why sleeplessness isn’t just physical, why unrest and exhaustion shouldn’t be normalized, and how Jesus has already given you peace. I also introduce the biblical foundation for taking your peace back, starting with Philippians 4:6–7, and how Christian night prayer and gentle, Scripture-led sleep meditation help calm the mind and restore rest.
If you’re tired, restless, and wondering why your nights feel heavy, this episode is an invitation to stop striving, recognize what’s really happening, and begin reclaiming the peace—and sleep—that belong to you.
Sweet dreams. 🤍
